Why Eye of the Storm Counselling?
When I think about a storm, there's a calm centre surrounded by high winds and chaos. I want my counselling service to be that calm centre for people who are lost within the chaos of their lives, whether that's mental health issues like anxiety and depression, day-to-day struggles, relationship or work-related issues. My goal is to pull you out of your chaos into the calm centre, where we can sit together for a while in a space that is free from judgement - a space where every part of you will be accepted unconditionally, where we can observe and explore what is going on for you and figure out, together, how things might change or improve for you. My hope is that I can offer you respite from whatever may be negatively impacting your life during our sessions together and that I can help you discover the tools necessary to step back out into the chaos without getting consumed by it.
A space for you...
It’s so common to feel like you can’t fully be yourself. The constant pressure to be a certain way, to say the right things, and live up to expectations that never quite fit. I offer a space where that doesn’t have to be true. A space where you don’t have to perform or pretend to be anything you’re not. I want to understand what’s really going on for you - to meet you where you’re at - and that means accepting you as you are and whatever you bring into the room.
